img_0047Purging Talon Executive Director, Matt G. Paradise had been interviewed on the Raising Hell podcast, primarily to discuss the interest of young people in Satanism and, ultimately, joining the Church of Satan. The conversation also takes a light-hearted turn as Magister Paradise waxes nostalgic about his weird childhood, discovering Satanism, his love for Italian girls, his favorite Brady, his first ritual, and other stimulating topics.

from the website…

Raising Hell is a discussion and education oriented podcast which takes an honest approach to promoting the individualist nature that Satanists are born with, and emboldening our own youth to rise above herd-conformity through responsible parenting.

Studio 8 Unmasked – Now Available Online

Back in 1998, Purging Talon Executive Director Matt G. Paradise produced this “mockumentary” on Studio 8 Live / Uncensored, a public access television program which aired on VCAM Channel 15 in Burlington, Vermont, mostly during the 1990s. The video aired at least once on Paradise’s then-current public access show, Subterranean SINema, and then found a home on the now out-of-print Purging Talon DVD title, The Best of Subterranean SINema. Since then, the video had not been publicly available until now. Also, this is the “Producer’s Cut,” which was finished in December of 2003 and includes new graphics, additional b-roll scenes, and tweaks here and there. It has also been preserved in its original 4:3 aspect ratio to make you feel all gushy and nostalgic. Enjoy!

August 4th, 2013 Comments off

2013-08-04-at-12.03Purging Talon Executive Director, Matt G. Paradise is featured in a pictorial entitled “Satanic Family Values” in the latest issue of Old Nick Magazine. Shot by the inimitable Paul Smalley (who is currently restoring his 19th century mansion in Iowa), the article showcases a few rakish gents of note in the infamous Church of Satan. From the publisher:

“Old Nick Magazine and its website were created for the forgotten man… the man who longs for the time of the genuine gentleman with a dark bent. The sophisticated gent who demonstrates manners and grace in every circumstance whether he’s at a formal affair or a ball game. We’re here for the man who loves women with curves, and who feel, smell and act like women. Welcome all you who are rogues, libertines and voluptuaries at heart”

The “Hell It’s Hot” summer issue (which also contains lots of pictures of naked women as well as articles on food, culture, art, sex and more) can be purchased either in print or digital form (there’s even an app for that!) at the issue’s MagCloud page. Back issues are available here. Official website for Old Nick is here (NSFW).
